Sopa Lodge in the Maasai Mara - our final stay of the trip.

Your fees cover security and professional cycling support. Here, Kenya Wildlife Service Rangers follow riders guided back to the main pack after fixing a puncture.

Fees for Ride Africa: 2nd - 9th February 2025, 15th - 22nd November 2025 are £2,750 per person.

To secure your place, you’ll need to pay a £100 deposit and then pay the remaining £2,650 100 days in advance of the event. You can pay the balance in one go, or in instalments.

Trip fees are distinct from your fundraising, and we ask that all participants commit to fundraising £1,800 to support Child.org (see ‘fundraising’ for more information).

Your fees cover the cost of your participation, ensuring that all the funds you raise go towards the work of Child.org and not the event.

Your fees cover:

  • Accommodation from Saturday - Saturday. We will be staying in luxury accommodation for the majority of Ride Africa. Safari Lodges are located within the National Parks with breath-taking views over watering holes. You will need to sort additional accommodation if you are staying beyond the morning of the final Saturday.

  • National Parks entrance and cycling fees. Ride Africa offers unprecedented access to Kenya’s world-famous National Parks, delivered in partnership with Kenya Wildlife Services. Your fee will cover your entrance fees to three National Parks, your cycling permit, and the support of Kenya Wildlife Service rangers who will keep you safe.

  • Bikes and support. Ride Africa is a fully supported ride. Your fee covers the rental and fitting of an entry-level mountain bike, professional cycle guides and mechanics who will keep you on two wheels and fix any mechanicals on the road and team nurses who will administer first aid (and lots of morale).

  • Transport in Kenya. All transit from Saturday to Saturday. N.B this does not include your flights.

  • Food and water: 3 daily meals, snacks and drinking water throughout your adventure.

Ride Africa is an amazing opportunity to see the beautiful country of Kenya, to meet some incredible people and to help a fantastic and impactful charity.
